A guide to all the colors on the site

I consider any movie that makes my lists "good", but perhaps a distinction ought to be made between pop gangster perfection GOODFELLAS and gonzo space thriller TOTAL RECALL. Enter the color coded tiers.

• REDS are unicorns. They rest firmly in the cinematic pantheon of yours truly.
• ORANGES represent best-of-decade-level greatness. Opuses worth revisiting over and over again.
• GREENS come strongly recommended. Something to associate a year fondly with.
• BLUES are very good but miss the mark on some crucial element.
• PURPLES are enjoyable enough but may be riddled with problems. Typically recommended with strong reservations.
